Instructions for Today's Class . . .
Complete Day 4 of Week 1 using an English Warm-Up. Be ready for Mr. Morehouse to check it!
Class Activities
These are your priorities today, in this order.
- Print out your rough draft (with comments) and your final draft (with rubric) of your Heart of Darkness Essay from Turnitin. Paperclip it to the back of your Hamlet Essay (Mrs. Henson) has the stack). We're making you a little portfolio!
- Select an Independent Reading book for this trimester. If you select from Mrs. Marshall's ([email protected]) cart, you must check the book out from the library. If you wish, check out the little AP Library in the back of Clark's room. Just let me know before you go peruse! Those books are up for grabs. They have been donated, and returning them is on the honor system. Feel free to download books digitally. Just make sure your selection is new to you, and on the AP List!
- Review our wonderful Cracking the ACT Notes. Before you leave, make me a list of three "rules" that students heading toward the ACT on March 4th should keep in mind. Give these lists to Mr. Morehouse on a 1/2 sheet of paper before you leave.
- With any extra time, please start reading your Independent Reading Choice. Know that you will submit journals and a Major Works Data Sheet.
Homework
Seniors, FINISH YOUR ILP! Everyone, please start thinking about what you would like to read for Independent Reading this trimester.
Notes
Want to turn in Late or Make-Up Work? Want to get points for an Extra Credit Volunteer Experience? Want to get points for an Extra Credit Cultural Event? All of these must be in before the last week of the trimester! Don't wait!
